I love the Soderhamn Sofa style but Ikea changed their covers and we didn't like any of the new color ways. No problem, with Petbitat Studio they have dozens of colors and textures to choose from including leather, suede and velvet. We...

Two of the art exhibits I'm most excited for are outdoor events: Desert X which I will be visiting in the weeks to come and one here in LA called Luminex. Sarah Rara, Perfect Touch 2021.  1154 S Olive St7:30–9:30pm While museums have been given the green light to re-open in LA, the most exciting art installation in April is still taking place outside. With one day blending into the next and nowhere to go, nothing to do; little things are all we have. So while I can't plan an amazing trip, outing etc. what I can do is get excited about the tangible things that enrich my daily life, and by actively appreciating them I find it helps regulate my mood and is itself a form of mindfulness.    All recommendations are budget friendly because finding joy in something small shouldn't always have to cost a lot, in fact some are free! Hope you will enjoy and please feel free to share any of your finds in the comments below, I'm always looking for something new to try! Trader Joe’s Roasted Garlic & Pesto Pizza with...

Halloween 2020 Ideas

If anything, it forces us to be a little more creative. As with everything this year, Halloween is getting a little reset which can be a good thing. No need for all the over the top festivities, just have fun with the simple things like dressing up, watching a Halloween movie, carving pumpkins, face painting or cookie decorating. There are some cool things happening this Halloween. This year we will have a blue moon. It's called a blue moon because it's the second full moon of the same month, after the harvest moon that took place Oct 1-3. Full moons...
