Not your average hoop.

The Taye is sculptural where most hoops are plain, a wide, molten-looking basket shape that catches the light across its entire organic surface. The mirror-polished finish reflects everything around it, giving a simple silhouette a depth that's hard to achieve with a standard round hoop. At 2 inches tall it has real presence on the ear without feeling heavy.

The fine ear wire keeps the whole thing light and effortless despite the scale. It moves with you, which is exactly what a hoop this shape should do.

Two Finishes

18K Gold Plated. A copper alloy base plated in warm 18K gold. Rich and sculptural, the gold finish makes the organic surface read almost molten.

Polished Silver. The same basket silhouette in a cool silver finish. Contemporary and architectural, pairs beautifully with other silver pieces or mixed into a gold and silver stack.

The Details

Composition: Copper alloy with 18K gold or silver plating. Approximately 2 x 1.5 inches. Ear wire fastening. Each pair ships in a Janna Conner jewelry pouch and box.

Styling

These work hardest when they have space to move — wear them with a simple outfit and let the sculptural shape do the talking. They suit longer face shapes particularly well, the width of the basket adding balance without bulk. Wear them alone, they don't need company.
