South Side Cocktail

In the past year, like many of you, we have had a lot of time to work on our cocktail making skills. One recent discovery is the classic cocktail the South Side. My husband and I love gin, his favorite is Hendrick's or Beefeater, mine is Tanquerey. But if gin's not your thing, you can use vodka instead. A friend made this for us over the summer and it has quickly become a favorite and is what we will be drinking on Valentine's! My Favorite Thanksgiving Holiday Recipe : Multi-Grain Stuffing with Portobello Mushrooms and Fennel

This year like so many other people,  I will not be seeing my family on Thanksgiving. Prior to this year, I've only missed one Thanksgiving holiday with my parents and siblings and that was when I was studying abroad in Hong Kong for my junior year of college. A Fresh Take On Pumpkin Pie

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! A few years back I took a cooking class here in LA called Meal and a Spiel, specializing on Thanksgiving recipes. It's a great class because it teaches you how to make tasty comforting recipes, just a little bit healthier. Just in time for Thanksgiving I thought I would share the creator, Elana Horwich's recipe for Pumpkin Pie. It's unique because it actually uses fresh pumpkin!
