A native of Los Angeles, Janna Conner designs simple yet elegant jewelry inspired by the vivid colors and multicultural richness of the Californian landscape. She holds a degree in Chinese history from UCLA, where she balanced her intellectual interests with her passion for art and design. Janna has honed her philosophy and aesthetic through her extensive world travels. She has lived in Hong Kong and travels to Paris regularly to visit family and seek creative inspiration.

Founded in 1999, Janna Conner Designs has been committed to the creation of beautiful and wearable pieces of jewelry. Each piece is carefully hand-crafted in Janna Conner's Los Angeles design studio, using only the highest quality semi-precious stones, and natural minerals.

After ten successful years designing fashion jewelry, Janna has expanded her focus to include fine jewelry. In this collection Janna draws inspiration from the architecture that surrounds her downtown Los Angeles design studio, from the decorative ironwork of the Bradbury building to the sculptural curves of Walt Disney concert hall. Using both precious and semi-precious stones with 14K gold, her designs pair equally well with a t-shirt and jeans as with a cocktail dress, elevating every day to a special occasion. Chic yet timeless, elegant yet versatile, Janna's fine jewelry collection is the essence of modern style.

"I try to combine the whimsy of fashion with everyday functionality," she has said. "I design for women like myself who are influenced by trends yet are not ruled exclusively by them."

As a result, Janna Conner's designs have been seen on a diverse range of celebrities, including Kate Bosworth, Jessica Simpson, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Katherine Heigl, Rachael Ray, Nelly Furtado, Diane Kruger, Madonna, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Debra Messing, Kathy Griffin and Lauren Conrad. Her jewelry can be found at stores nationwide such as Roseark, Kitson, Henri Bendel and Fred Segal.
